My ceremony will be taking place in a rustic wooden barn. I purchased 2 of the Silver/Clear “Duchess” Chandeliers from Urban Outfitters (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=25160607′ defer=’defer) that will be hanging inside, but now I’m thinking about chairs…
I love the Gold Chiavari Chairs becuse they are warm, romantic, and I feel fit better with the rustic/glam theme I’m going for…but will that clash with primarily silver chandeliers? Would Silver Chiavari Chairs look better?

I don’t think they clash, and I also don’t think anyone will really notice, anyway!

You can mix colors, everything doesn’t have to be the same color, plus silver is neutral. I think your good.

I don’t think it’s a problem to mix silver and gold. But as a guest I don’t like chiavari chairs because they are horribly uncomfortable. And I think they might look odd in a rustic barn. But that’s just my two cents. Don’t think you need to worry about silver and gold clashing at all.

Did you read the two reviews on the chandeliers? Yes, they look beautiful but with those kind of review, I can’t help thinking this may not be a good idea if you want stress-free? LOL I know you already purchased them, did you assemble them already? Maybe if you think it wasn’t all that bad, you can add your own review so these bad ones aren’t the only ones for these chandeliers.
Oct 2012 – Beware. Product states SIMPLE assembly. Not true. You have to hook, hang and connect every last piece. Not worth the money.
AUG 2012 – Be aware….you have to assemble every sing piece of this light. This is a complete nightmare!

haha i DID read those reviews. we already bought them & my fiancee assembled them both within an hour or so 🙂 they look great! there’s no way i would be able to assemble them myself though.

@blushpink: so he assembled them within an hour? Well, maybe he should write a review to shut these guys up! If it’s that easy, thee two reviews do the chandeliers a disservice! They are pretty though I will admit that, and they didn’t look too hard to assemble but the reviews caught me off guard LOL

I think that it will look great! I love mixing metallics!

You can mix metallics so I think it is perfectly fine. I am not a fan of matchy-matchy anyway.
