We did a photobook with black pages as well. We used very fine-tip silver Sharpie markers and they worked like a charm 🙂

I found some nice gel pens at Hobby Lobby to address my black linen RSVP envelopes. Worked like a charm!

Yeah – I was going to recommend the silver sharpies as well.  We used a regular black sharpie (no fine tip or anything) with our guest book and it is still really easy to read so I don’t think you’d have any problems with the fine tip silvers!

We had 1 Sharpie for 135 guests but it could have kept working long past that.  At most, I’d have two to be safe.

And the silver only appear to come in “fine point” but that is a 1 mm tip.  I don’t see why you’d need a tip more fine than that!

Michaels has what you’re looking for. I’ve used them several times for similar projects; and one of my friends did almost the exact same guestbook as above…got the silver pens at michael’s. They come in different-tipped sizes (fine, superfine, medium, etc). good luck!
