i love nicole miller dresses. these three have caught my eye but all over 1k. i am on a serious budget for my wedding. we are having the reception in a restaurant, it will likely be a brunch wedding with about 60 people. we haven’t decided if we will have the ceremony at the restaurant or in central park. i realize these dresses may be a bit much for the venue and type of wedding but i am set on a old hollywood glam look. i am picturing this style of dress with sideswept hair and a blusher birdcage veil. anyway, these dresses are out of my price range (#1 is my fav) so i have found the tadashi dress (#4) for much less, but does it just look like a cheap substitute)?

@foxy_brown: I say go for it! The last dress doesnt look cheap at all! It is very pretty and very much Hollywood Glam! 🙂

I like the fourth one! It’s simple yet glamorous, perfect for a casual wedding.

I don’t blame you for loving number 1 ..it is beautiful and I think that stomach area is more flattering than number 4. However, pictures don’t really matter, what matters is how it fits and feels on you. The last one is very nice if the stomach area is flattering on.
Have you considered looking in the department stores at occasion dresses. You may find something in this style for far less than those specifically labelled bridal. I recently saw a very similar dress in the Macys prom section as I was shopping for mother of the bride.
dont worry about being too dressy for a park/ restaurant wedding. an elegant style like you have selected will be beautiful. I don’t thInk a bride can ever be too fancy. Women are wearing ball gowns at beach weddings! And especially in NYC anything goes!

I like the second one the most! But they’re all really pretty. Have you tried them all on?
