All down to personal taste, but I would er, gently suggest that detailed is not the same a unique. Settings like the one you posted are quite popular. So just decide what you prefer.

slw0546340:  I prefer the solitaire. That stone is so stunning, it really doesn’t need anything else. The unique setting is very pretty though. My question is, would the unique one be practical for everyday wear? If you work with your hands, it may be difficult to maintain the pave.

Also need to think about a wedding band on top on the detailed might be a lot on your finger. I say simple and stack it up.

does the detailed e-ring have an enhancer on it? would you do that? If so, I vastly prefer the solitaire.

Choose the one that flatters your hand.

Choose the one that will still look good when you are in your fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties.

Choose the one that is the most comfortable.

I have a detailed setting and I love it!  It isn’t the most practical but I don’t care.

That being said, I think the top picture with the 2 bands around the more detailed setting along with a 1.5ct pear would be too much for me personally.  If you like serious bling though, that’s the way to go!

I like the detailed one, but then again…I can be biased 🙂
