Gorgeous dress. I don’t think a dress needs to be OTT to be “bridal”. With all your accessories, you’ll be pretty done up anyway.

Have you paid for either of these dresses?

I don’t think a ballgown is more bridal.  It just happens to be more traditional in the sense of the word.  I feel your pain.  And you look amazing in that dress.  Your heart seems set on it and I don’t blame you.  Your family should be happy if your happy.

I love it and think its very bridal! go with your gut and the dress YOU love- you are the only one who has to wear it.

OMG that dress is beautiful!! And very bridal! You have such a nice figure, I think a ballgown would swallow you up and wouldn’t do you any favors.

Seriously. Go with this dress. It’s beautiful and you look amazing (and bridal!) in it 🙂

I love your dress! In my opinion, it’s SO bridal! When else would you wear a dress like that?

If you look at the dress I ordered, it’s actually less bridal than the one you chose. FFI asked if I’m comfortable wearing a dress that’s less “bridal” last night which got me thinking, but I’m with you about wanting to feel like me as well on that day…

I say keep it! It looks incredible on you!

ETA: P.S. I love the neckline.

Wow! I think you look AMAZING!  Listen, I’m sure you will h ear this over and over again. But you need to go with YOUR favorite. And guess what, the day of your wedding.. You will realize u made the right choice bc you will feel perfect in it.  I too ran into the whole family situation with my dress.  I fell in love with a dress online.. Couldnt find it anywhere, and my family LOVED this other dress on me.. I loved the dress also, but it just wasnt comfortable! I wanted sexy but comfortable… They coudlnt beleive that i wouldnt pick the dress they wanted bc i looked great in it… But i wanted to have a dress that was more me.. You need to stick with your gut on this one girl.. Pick what YOU want, bc ultimatly, its your day to feel yourself 100%

I LOVE that dress! The belt adds so much interest and the dress shape looks great on you! “Bridal” doesn’t have to mean embellishments and poof. Once they see you wearing that on the big day with your veil & flowers, it will be all the “bridal” look you need 🙂
