I have two halls in mind that are nice, simple and cheap.
These have tables and chairs and we would be bringing in all dishware (mismatched china), caters, alchohol, music, ect.
I wanted to see if anyone knew of other halls in the Toledo area that have this kind of bare bones set up or some halls that maybe include catering and are inexpensive.
Thank you for readding

The metroparks range from 200-500 for event space and they’re really nice wood interiors

i would look into the country clubs, brandywine, tameron, stone ridge, or have you thought about looking into hotels?

if you go north of toledo a bit (25 minutes) to Monroe, MI there is the sawyer house and their rates are really good, but I’ve never seen the inside, its a historic building though.
I’m having mine in Erie at a small church which is about 15 mintues north of Toledo, so a bit of a drive, but well worth it if someone is looking for a hometown style wedding.

I actually live in the heart of Erie, MI. And my fiancé’s family is from Monroe. So good option, thanks. Just noisy which church?

I’m all in favor of using a wedding venue that’s a little off the beaten track. Have you looked at any of the options on http://www.gatheringguide.com/event_directory/rc/oh_ohio/toledo/evl_event_venues.html ? I don’t know if you’re set on using a hall specifically. But there are some art galleries, hotels, etc that could also be a nice, bare bones setup.
