I have been trying to put my look together now that we have pretty much set a Winter date:) I want to see some plain dresses too! Not a bad thing at all!!! I love lace and bling but it was just not me….
I had a lapse with my dress seller yesterday, She might want it back. I really didn’t think anything of the “agreement” bc it was used already. Ugghhh so I did have a back up dress in my mind Allure 8861:) Satin ruched mermaid. I do LOVE LOVE LOVE my VW by DB still after 8 months! Anywhoos let me see some simple dresses!
Mine( and yes unfortunately those are Xmas stockings in the background, our 5 y/o Dirty Delete will not let us take them down lol)

Ours were both quite plain. We loved the shapes, the embroidery, and the way the two coordinated.

@cherryblossomlove your dress is stunning and it really suits you!
@2dBride both of your dresses are gorgeous, I love your bouquets too.
My dress is very simple and plain, here it is, sorry about the pasty face, I was recovering from pnemonia at the time! The second picture has all the accessories, hair style and makeup I will be wearing. Sorry about the clothes etc in the background, I was trying it on at my parent’s house! Also, I’m not wearing the underskirt in either of the photos, I forgot to put it on, so the dress will be a lot fuller.

Umm, excuse me?! She sold the dress; there’s no trade-backs! You are being much nicer than I would ever be. I’d tell the biotch that she sold the dress. She can buy it back after your wedding!

Yah what? You’ve had the dress for 8 months and this girl wants it back? I’d completely ignore her.

@cherryblossomlove: Just ignore her and block her emails! If this dress you have on is the one you want, seriously the deal is done woman!

@Pinkmoon: well I ordered it back in June/july but we called the wedding(put on hold) so I didn’t do anything thru DB. We worked out everything and I literally got it before Thanksgiving from her on some site, I think POWD. But yes I have loved this dress since June/July!
@ifheaven: She apologized and didn’t mean to sell it so fast… wth?! But yeah I have blocked her emails through yahoo

My dress was very simple in the front so I added a lace bolero for the ceremony:

and a statement necklace for the reception:

PS. If you’re NOT having 2nd thoughts about the dress you bought from that girl, I would be strong and tell her you bought it fair and square and are keeping it. I would NEVER ask for a dress back after selling it… that is just plain crazy!

@KimmySumShuga: Definitely no 2nd thoughts. I love this dress so much and it’s a record for me. 7 plus months! I keep wanting to try it on:) I am looking for some kind of headband to wear as we speak:) I love your dress! You made me feel so much better after reading your story and how simple was the way to go. Thank you
