Mason jars are really popular and we’ll be using those as decorations. Do you have table numbers? If so, you can be creative with those. Maybe you can make a photo wall in some way (hanging with fishing twine). I’d just search under Google Images for “simple wedding decor” or something like that to see what examples are shown.

It sounds like your decorations are goign to be wonderful! It might help you to set up a small table in your home with the centerpieces and the table runner colours etc to see if it looks too plain or too busy, take some pictures and ask the lovely bees for advice if you need, I think the combination of the pomanders and the lanterns will be lovely though, you don’t need it too look too busy for a simple wedding

Are you opposed to flowers? A few flowers make all the difference, at our wedding the backyard looked empty with all the decorations until the next day when the flowers were there. You can find some nice fake ones, but I heard sometimes the nice fakes can be more expensive then fresh depending on where you go. If you want fresh a florist can point out some options that are inexpensive.

In our home if we have a space that I feel needs something, I put some flowers there.

@Mrsgurzakovic:  Depending upon how chic you are going, you can do paper chains, clothing pins on fishing twine that holds pictures, bunting, etc.

How about paper medalions on the walls? They’re cheap and relatively easy!
