I recently bought two garments from Simply Bridal, and have encountered great difficulty in attempting to return one item. Their customer service is non-existent. At the time I purchased the dresses, as asserted on their website, I was assured by a live person that, even though the dresses are supposedly hand made, if there was a need to return the items, there would be no problem, and that a shipping label would be provided to me. As it turns out, I did need to return one of the dresses. I attempted to reach the company first by email, then by telephone to request a return shipping label, as advertised. Days passed with no response. Finally, I did receive an email with an attachment that was obviously bogus, addressed to me, rather than back to their L.A. address. I immediately advised the company of the error. To date, another week has passed, with no response. As they don’t even honor their promise to provide return shipping, I can only assume they most likely would not reverse the charge to my card if I paid the return shipping charge myself. Now, I understand why the long delay in providing the garment after placing the order. Obviously, they want the 30-day period to elapse before customers realize they been duped. In my mind, this is a fraudulent company and I am attempting to find a Better Business Bureau location or other business agency to file a complaint against them. So many things about this company are shady. Their website is very deceiving. Beware, the dresses may be advertised at a very inexpensive price, but they make up for it in astronomical shipping costs. For me, it was a whopping $40.00 for ground delivery of two plain knee-length dresses. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
