My Fiance doesn’t know this, but during our reception I’ll be singing “The Only Exception” written by Paramore for him. This song holds quite a bit of significance for us and so I really wanted to personalize it. My friend Shannon will be playing guitar and singing harmonies and so I’m not worried at all about how it will sound.
I am a performer and have been doing so for many years in front of all kinds of crowds, but this seriously makes me so nervous because I KNOW that i will choke up.
Any other bees out there singing at your wedding? Have you? Any performers/vocalist have tips for this? I can hardley sing it myself without choking up when the song is so close to my heart. I need some help!
