@MrsNeutrino:  I wish! Most of my friends are already married. I was very involved in helping them plan though!

One of my friends is (secretly) engaged and I am SO EXCITED to be planning for her, even though it will be a ways off before we’ll get to do any parties!

@techie:  Same! Most of my friends are recently married. I was involved in several of their weddings so I had a little bit of a jump start when it was my turn.

@MrsNeutrino:  Not really, but mostly because I moved out of state right before I got engaged. 🙂 I learned what to do and what NOT to do from those weddings!

My sister is only 22, and finishing college, but she is my Maid/Matron of Honor and I’m already thinking of what I can do for her when she gets married – hosting a shower at my house (hopefully we’ll have bought one by then!), planning an awesome bachelorette… Its fun to plan ahead!

I’m saving all the bridal magazine/ goodies from the bridal expo (photographer info, venues, etc.) for a friend who’s getting engaged this year (her Boyfriend or Best Friend said they’re getting engaged this year, so okay!) I have great spread sheets with venue info, and checklists I’ll pass on.

I’m also thinking about offering to design their save the dates- did ours, which turned out really cute. Would be nice to help someone else plan, without any stress!

I am among the last of my friends to get married so I actually have a lot of ideas for my own showers/parties but since I’m not planning them cannot really use. At least this way I can learn from their mistakes and events and know a bit more of what I do and don’t want.
