what type of contacts did you get for astigmatism?  And how bad is your astigmatism?  Mine is like .25 or .5 or something and they say its not enough to be corrected by contacts.  But I’ve had a super hard time reading books and seeing the words on a computer screen lately.  It sucks!

I’m glad you got contacts and are enjoying them!  Mine have become the devil incarnate and I’m probably getting lasik next year.

yeah I have glasses and I have contacts that don’t correct for the astigmatism (they just correct for my nearsightedness).  I prefer to wear the contacts but then it is harder to read!  I can see better with the glasses but I just hate having glasses on.

I also have both! I just prefer to wear my glasses.

I always use my finger and slide the contact sideways first so that I can get a good grip on them to pull them out. I had a really hard time removing them at first too. You’ll get better at it! Just takes practice.

I got contacts a week ago (or a little more, I can’t remmeber) and it was a pain at first, literally since there was something wrong with the left lens. But I took them in and out a few times while I was at home on Monday and I started to get the hang of it.

I love wearing my glasses, but I don’t like the glare they give in pictures so contacts it was for the wedding and engagement pictures, etc.
