I’ve had a few brides request their guests wear these Sole Mates for their outdoor weddings

I was going to post the above link. That’s what we’re using too.

Starlettos! You can remove them after your ceremony!

@aussiebee:  Wow! SO wish I had known about these when my photographer was posing Darling Husband and me for our formal pics, and he had us standing in the grass in front of our venue.

(Ithought I was prepared for this by having purchased wedding wedges, but, because they were about a half inch shorter than my ceremony and reception shoes, and because I lost weight before the wedding and my dress was about a half inch too long even WITH my higher shoes, I couldn’t end up wearing them.)

Sadly, most of my formal wedding pics show me with this totally not-bridal-happy-looking but instead “let’s get this over with — the heels of my silk-covered, Swarovski-crystal-adorned shoes are sinking in the grass, and I am trying to stand on my tip-toes while faking a faint smile” look on my face.

THESE would have been something to have considered had I known about them!

@Brielle:  They are great, aren’t they?

I only discovered them recently on the counter of a shoe store!! I was Bridesmaid or Best Man a couple of years ago and wore ivory heels and the whole heel was filthy after the photo shoot from sinking in the grass…..the shoes looked awful afterward and couldn’t be cleaned properly. I love that they are removable so you can just pop them off at the reception!
