I wouldn’t co-sign for her either if she was that irresponsible!  I would tell her to have the parents do it, or move back in with them.  your sister is 24, she is a grown ass woman, and she can take care of herself.  i know you love her, and i know you want best for her, but there’s a point where she’ll either have to sink or swim, she’s got to learn what the real world is like, and how to survive on her own.  It’s nto your fault she doesn’t have a place to live, you gave her a THREE months notice, that was more than enough time!  i’m sorry they’re trying to paint you as the bad guy, but you can’t do much more now that knowing you’re not doing anything wrong and move out and start your life.

First and foremost, I am so sorry to hear these troubles. And as pp’s have already said:

*It’s different when it’s your sister/brother acting this way, and being irresponsible.

*It’s doing her a favour, you being steadfast in not letting yourself co-sign the lease.

*You are NOT her momma. You are her sister. Let it be this way. Let her take care of herself.
