Hostessthats a really sucky situation 🙁 However! Since your wedding is first, everyone will be oohing and aahing over how you look in your dress, and if and when anyone remembers by the time hers comes around, they will be saying hers is similar to yours most likely 🙂
MemberI have to agree that it’s a very common dress style, but if my sister picked almost the identical style as me, I would be a little annoyed as well.
However, you said that you two have very different body styles so that dress style is going to look very different on you both. Plus, you’re going to have different hairstyles and makeup so you will most likely look so different that I’m guessing most people won’t even realize you have a similar dress.
MemberYour sister is getting married after you, right? Honestly, if I attended both weddings and remembered your dress, when I saw your sister in *her* dress, I’d probably think, “Oh, interesting/sweet! She’s wearing her sister’s dress!”
In other words, you’re wearing that style “first,” so you win. 😉
