Do you think anyone will mistake her for you?

I usually don’t have a problem with light colours for a wedding or mostly white with a floral print but I find this really bridal.

bee1989 :  i don’t think you’re overreacting. this dress very much feels like a cry for attention to wear it to a wedding.

At the end of the day if anyone notices, the negative comments will be about her, not you. I’m sure everyone going knows that you are the bride and won’t mistake her for you. The worst that will happen is people will say ‘I can’t believe what that guest over there is wearing’.

Ask if she could wear a sash of your theme colour if you have one, provided you’re close to her too. Else, like what PPs said, ignore it. Others would be talking about her behaviour not u.

I actually think the other things you mentioned may matter.  Care to list what they were?

This alone.. eh? I have no idea if she chose it to get under your skin or just because she figured it was off white enough.  But if she has been on a spree of subtle jabs at you iay think otherwise.

That dress looks pretty bridal to me, especially with the fit and flare. If it were me, I’d say something.

She will look like a bit of a dill, to be honest.

As for the gift, that really isn’t your call. My only question is why has it been gifted already if you aren’t married? Did you have a honeyfund or something?
