Ok Bees, let’s see how you tackle this one!
I am the oldest sister of three younger brother’s and my fiance has taken sooo much time to get to know (he even asked each one separately to propose) and they love him like a brother. I love that, especially since family means so much to me! “The Boy” , as my brothers refer to him as, has one younger sister. I’ve met her once (while she was working.)
I know it sounds lame, family being so important to me, but she lives so far away and she and I don’t really have much in common. I have been talking to her on the phone to estabilish some form of a relationship, I will be her sister soon (eek!) “The Boy” and I have talked a lot about asking her to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man and I’m really concerned about our original idea of not asking her is hurting her feelings, even though she said it didn’t. But I am I’m so sad that when she comes, and I see her sitting and watching her brother and I marry, that it will break her heart.
So the question I move you ladies: should I stick with my guns and keep from asking her to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man or cave and ask her?
Happy “Happily Ever After”
