@Take The Reins: Me too!  I just started tearing up!

I don’t think I could handle having sister wifes but I love watching their relationship.

I find it absolutely fascinating. It would never work for me… I get lonely when my husband is gone for a three-day business trip, so it would be crazy if he had three other wives he had to spend time with! But yeah… I love watching it!

Definitely not the life for me, but I love watching it and I am completely supportive of their decision to live this way.  They’re not harming anyone, they chose this life and say they’re not being forced into it in any way whatsoever.  They seem like a normal, happy family to me.

While I enjoy the show, I could never do it.  I think the family dynamics are very interesting.  I’m glad to see that they admit to getting jealous of one another.  Kody, on the other hand, grates my nerves.

I’ve watched all of the episodes on Netflix, and not the current season (no cable for me).  It is so interesting to see how everything works and how normal they are.

For sure not anything I would ever want to do, there is no way I would be a sister wife, but those that choose this life aren’t hurting anyone and I have no problem with it.

They fascinate me as well. They seem like decent people and they sincerely love their children. To me, that is the most important thing.

I thought the most recent episode was really interesting, where Christine was talking about how jealous she was at first of Robyn.  And then later they said that when Christine was in labor with Truly, Kody and Robyn were engaged.  I am fascinated by the show and I am all for living however you want, but there’s just something icky to me about having a wife that’s pregnant and needs attention, and to be out getting engaged to someone else.  No matter if they believe it’s ok, it obviously wan’t making Christine feel very good at an important time.

@Take The Reins: Yep, that made me cry as well. I find the show very, very, interesting (in a good way).

ETA: Meri is my favorite too. I like Robyn as well.

@Take The Reins: I have the same feelings about all of the same people! My mom and I think Meri is the most “normal” and level-headed.

I too am fascinated with the show.  I could see how historically it would benefit a man who was probably a farmer to have several wives to have several children and run the homestead and farm.  I can see how those wives would lean on one another through difficult times.  I suppose in modern times, having “sisters” to lean on has it advantages.  I, however, couldn’t imagine not being queen bee in my home and having to wait in line for quality time.

I also find the whole show very interesting.  I really like the relationship between all the wives, I think they have an awesome support system between them.  I find that Meri is my favorite.  Never a life that I could live but I really respect them.

I like the way that they raise their children, espically since they don’t put a lot of pressure on them to also life the life they live.  It will be intersting in the future to see how many of their children choose to live the multiple spouse lifestyle.
