@pugaroo:   How much have they given her and do they have a contract?  Does she have a facebook page?  I would pay her a visit at her home or place of business and try to talk face to face.  If not, write a certified letter.

Also, was the wedding in June 2011 or is that when the photographer was booked?

I don’t have much advice but that is terrible! i would be really worried too if i already gave her the cash and you are not hearing anything back. Obviously she is getting the messages if she is deleting them. I would just be sure to document EVERYTHING! save every email and note the days you tried to contact her – if you leave any more messages on her blog i would screen shot those while its there and after its been deleted. At least you will have some proof in court if needed. hopefully she paid with a check so you have proof of payment?

Maybe she will see this when she checks her analytics and sees a spike in traffic from here lol.

What is she trying to get in contact with her for? Did she not receive her prints or her photo album?

Post a question on her blog. She seems to update it a lot…try calling from a different number, email from a different address, etc. I feel like there are a lot of ways to get in contact with someone.

@pugaroo:  Sounds like a certified letter is your next step.

Certified letter then if there is no response I would seek legal counsel to find out what your options are. She is obligated under contract to provide the services agreed upon and paid for. If she can not provide the service, money must be refunded. 7 months seems like a pretty long time to wait. Did she ever give your sister a time frame? Is there anything in the contract that applies to that?

P.S. I tried to look up any reviews on her, and your wedding bee post is the third website that comes up on Google search, and it isn’t flattering to her business. Maybe this will light a fire under her ass.

Send the certified letter, and specifically say that you are concerned because it has been 7 months, and she has been avoiding contact despite updating her blog so you know she is active on the internet.  Say that you want to clear it up quickly and amicably but as she has been out of communication, if she does not respond to the letter that you will have to turn to the court system to enforce the contract as you are beginning to feel that she is purposefully avoiding contact.

ETA: looks like she updated her blog today and several times recently. I’d get that letter out now.

Well on one of her blog posts she mentions where she works and they clearly have an office. If reaching out to her now doesn’t get you a response I would try to contact her at her work.

Blog says she contracts for Zulily. Maybe call them and see if she has voicemail there?

Also is this the phone number you have? 415-302-3086
