I would like to see what kind of options are out there for used plus size wedding dresses before I commit to buying a new one. I’ve checked out a few of the well known used sites but theres pretty much nothing for plus size brides.
Any suggestions?

Try this. I haven’t checked it out but saw it on another site as a link to check.

I don’t know if I can reccommend curvybrides.com. It seems like all the dresses are China knock-offs or low quality remakes.

You could check the bridal resale sites. Often, brides will sell a dress which has been used once (or even ones never used, that they changed their minds on). And those include plus-sized dresses.
Also, most of the wedding forums have for sale areas. You might check out:
If there are wedding consignment stores in your area, they could be another alternative.
Finally, you might consider non-“wedding” dresses. For example, most bridesmaids’ dresses come in white or ivory, and they are typically a lot less expensive than wedding dresses.

I bought mine from recycled bride, which is now tradesy.com. I’d definitely recommend them.

UpstateCait : I might sell my size 24 Allure w353 and would probably use Tradesey or PreOwnedWeddingDresses.
chio.girl : This is actually a brick and mortar store in NJ–I went there to try on gowns, so no cheap knock offs 🙂
