So, my poor Fiance scratched his cornea last night, which resulted in a trip to the emergency room, and he’s been in bed all day today. He has to stay in complete darkness because any light makes him have a migraine, not to mention the constant leaking of eye juice lol.
Anyways, I am obviously not mad at my Fiance as this was an accident and he’s injured but I can’t help but feel a little sad and lonely. We can’t even watch a movie together or anything because it’s too painful for him, so I’m basically banished to the living room for the evening. theres only so long I can lay I’m bed in silence while wide awake.
I’ve been feeling a bit cooped up all day today and seeing everyone’s pictures on Facebook is making me a bit ancy Lol. Give me some ideas to entertain myself 😀

EDubbs: I’m doing the same thing minus the pot roast. I’ve replaced that with cheez-its instead.

anonbee88: I know the feeling. We decided to stay home these holidays, and although it has been relaxing, I miss spending time with my family. We are way too far, so we cannot visit each other often. Darling Husband is working the night shift today, so it sucks. We had a nice dinner and watched a movie before he left. That means I will be alone when the new year comes 🙁 Luckly, he should be home a little after midnight. I am already planning to use this time to organize/clean up my computer because the memory is almost full lol! Do you have any hobbies? Maybe read a good book, bake something. Sometimes, I use my alone time to plan trips, budget, meals, baby stuff (even though I don’t have one yet). Hope your Fiance feels better soon. Happy new year!

A holiday movie followed by watching the fireworks on TV is always good fun, even when you’re alone. New Year’s Eve is a great movie for that lol.

My Fiance has to work overnight tonight so I’m home with the pups!

i’m sort of in a similar situation. my husband came down with something during the night- we’re not sure if he has a stomach bug or if it was something he ate. this morning he said he feels fine and still wanted to go, but now he’s being grouchy and difficult, so i think we’re going to just stay home. or i may go to the party by myself.
hope your fiance gets better soon!

anonbee88: maybe cook something? I’m making pizza and I’m very excited about it. Try a new recipe you’ve never made before so you have to focus on it and it will probably take longer than usual. There’s a House Hunters marathon tonight too.
I hope your Fiance gets better soon.

All of our friends are going to a bar that’s almost 2 hours away from us….. Darling Husband has to open our store in the morning so we have to keep NYE somewhat local……so we are staying in too. It sucks because he proposed on NYE last year so this night is very dear to my heart now….

anonbee88: Hey!!! I totally feel you on this. I pulled a muscle in my leg at dance class a couple of nights ago and have to just sit and ice it for a couple of days (I had knee surgery for a torn ACL on this leg last year so it’s weak).
We were planning on going out and partying but it just isn’t in the cards this year. Fiance is studying right now and I’m in the living room watching tv, browsing weddingbee, and having some much deserved champagne 😉
Enjoy yourself as much as you can and maybe plan an alternate night out. We’re planning on having the night out that we thought we’d have tonight once I feel better 🙂

You could listen to a podcast together! There’s always some neat ones out there.
