Happy New Year from Australia!

We went over to a friend’s house and they cooked us pizza in their new outdoor pizza oven – delish!

It was just the 4 of us and my fiancé and I were home on the couch by midnight eating icecream and watching the Syndey fireworks on TV.

Definitely not a rocking NYE but one of the best in a long time!

To all the bees getting married in 2015 – our year is here!!!

X

I’m currently here at home with my daughter watching Cutthroat Kitchen, too bored and lazy to cook. Fiance works til after 1am. He asked that we stop by his job before midnight. That seems so far away. I have half a mind to take a nap til 11:30pm, go there then come backgnome and sleep. I have thiswhole week off from work unpaid bc my job is closed so I’m feeling kinda broke, bored  and blah since he works most of the time, so I’ve been spending lotstime timealone with my 4 year old.

ME TOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Sorry, I may or may not have had a few glasses of champagne.

I am so sorry about what has been going on, no fun!

My advice: have a glass of (whatever), or two, and watch TV.  Eventually you’ll get tired :-)!

Well I came down with a cold all the lovely kids decided to share with me on Xmas… So no party here for me. Which is fine- I am more of a homebody anyway. I had a plan to make a wonderful meal for Fiance and I and us to watch some movies.

Except for this horrible wind storm last night that took down 6 power poles around us (we live on top of a mountain) soo we have no power! ๐Ÿ™

This is normally fine because we have a generator and our fireplace runs off of propane. Well, the generator was sounding awful so we had to kick that off. And this cold was making me freeze even with the fireplace.

So Fiance and I went to my parents house 30 mins away. Fiance is now back up the mountain packing up our groceries so we don’t lose all the food And I’m here waiting on him….

Happy NYE Bee’s!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

It is soo not a huge deal to be sitting home on New Year’s.  In fact I am getting more and more to th fact I rather stay home.  Don’t have to worry about the idiot drunks and can be as comfy as can be.  W are home with a fire going and watching NHL hockey with our 3 year old who will be going to bed soon

anonbee88:  Hear! Hear! From Ottawa, Canada! Fiance and I are staying in also tonight, all cuddled up on the couch. Our Bulldog broke FI’s nose over a week ago and it was simply not healing. He spent the afternoon at the ER to have his nose drained of the infection and packed with gauze. So, we are watching the TV specials and sipping on non-alcoholic pear bubbly. We are raising our glasses to you and your Fiance and are wishing you a very, happy New Year and all the best for 2015!

anonbee88:  nope! Calories should be treated like rollover minutes from Sprint… use them before they expire at midnight!

Cheers!

FutureMrsHodgy:  I have a cold too. :/, just sitting in bed, reading/doing work. Might even fall asleep before midnight. I am trying to stay awake though. Will probably get a gazillion text messages. I didn’t really do anything fun today. Didn’t even have a glass of wine. I did watch a movie though!! It was christmas-sy, cheesy, and on lifetime!

My husband works away from home and he left yesterday for two-three weeks. Tonight I am just drinking a Chelada and watching Secret Life of the American Teenager and filling out my scholarship application for next year.

Maybe if you want to do something together you can read him a book?
