That sucks! I always try and make my appointment for first thing in the morning so that I don’t get messed up on scheduling by other people’s issues. I am sure it was short notice though so you took what you could get 🙁 You should walk up and tell them you were supposed to be seen at 12:30 and then throw up on their desk hahahaha maybe that will get them movin.

Just kidding, I hope you feel better.

@Miss Tattoo: Ugh I’m sorry. I totally hear you though. I’ve become completely jaded and am surprised when I get seen on time.

Usually the later in the day the appointment is the worse it is. Probably because most other patients don’t show the courtesy of showing up on time.

Plus, many doctors make their appointment slots 15min, and you know those are are going to run over.

Last time I went to the doctor to get my last shot for cervical cancer or whatever I waited almost an hour and watched countless ladies go in. It took them 2 min to give me my shot. I feel you.

dude, i’m so sorry. the same thing happens to me every single time i go into the doctor too. i just don’t get it. you think that with so many receptionists, multiple nurses and multiple doctors in the office, they woul be able to figure something out!

do you have the flu?

Ugh – Sorry you’re not feeling well.  🙁

I can commiserate with the late doctor’s visits though.  I’m never seen on time despite the fact that I show up early for all my appointments.  My last two appointments, it was over an hour late before I was seen.  It’s like they have no respect for the value of your time.

Hope you get to see the doctor soon and they give you something that gets you quickly on the road to recovery!

Seriously though, Doctor Bees what is the deal?  Are delays caused by patient pile-ups (aka people coming in late and pushing everyone else back)?  Are the time slots really to small to get everything examined?

Feel better tats.

Ugh. I’m sorry.

What *I* really hate is when the doctor condescends and acts like it’s too complicated to explain whatever is going on with my body or why I should be taking xyz prescription drug (maybe that’s why they get backed up? Oh well, too bad, I’m still going to make you explain stuff).

Hope you get seen soon!

That is so so so annoying!!! I hate it so much. I always get there early and I will always be seen after other people who got there much later than me!
