Maybe give him a few more days till you follow up from your email? I don’t blame you for being anxious. I hope your photos are ready soon!

You could wait another day or two, or email him now, either one. It can never hurt to have a nice quick, “Hi, it was so great working with you! I’m excited to see the pictures, you said it would be 8 weeks and it’s a little past that…I know you are busy with travel, so I understand if it takes a little bit longer, I’m just anxious to see them, as I’m sure most brides are, haha! Let me know when you think they’ll be ready :)”

I sent a similar email to my photographer and got my pictures like 48 hours later.

@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  I would shoot him an email on Monday or so, because he surely won’t respond on the weekend when he probably has weddings to do. Take a deep breath, I know the wait can be hard, but wedding season is CRAZY for vendors, and especially photographers and videographers. Editing hundreds of pictures takes days and even weeks, and I’m sure he’s got tons of clients.

Send him an email on Monday just saying, “Hey it was GREAT working with you! I can’t wait to see what you came up with!” 🙂

I would email him today.  I am a big fan of forwarding the message I already sent and saying something like: “just checking in to see if you received my email, I would love an update on the pictures”.  He may be annoyed, but you are due an update, since you paid him!
