(Closed) Size 11 finger. Dreading ring shopping.posted 4 years ago in Rings

I noticed early on in my window/internet shopping the same thing – don’t be discouraged! I shopped around in stores/online and found an estate jewelers on Etsy who had the most beautiful rings. They were super nice and very easy to work with, and they were helpful with recommending which rings would size up the easiest. This ring was a size 6(?) when I tried it on, which means it came to about a third down my finger, but it was nice to have it on, at least, and see how it would look on my finger.
I haven’t worn a ring every day in about 8 years, so I was worried my finger would look like a total sausage with my ring on it, but having your ring sized correctly makes a huge difference. If it fits you the way it should, it won’t pinch at your finger or squeeze it. This ring was sized to 11.5 for me, and it’s perfect.
Jewelers want your business. They should bend over backward to make whatever ring you end up getting the perfect one. My jeweler sized it up for me at cost – they charged me for the gold – because I purchased the ring from them. You may find a jeweler to do the same for you. Good luck, happy hunting!
