Not sure exactly which style mine was, trumpet ish I guess.  It was a size 14 from David’s bridal.  I just wore regular ol’ Spanx and thought they did the job.  There are definitely a few photos from the day where my stomach is gross in my opinion.  But then again, I ALWAYS feel like my stomach is gross…sooo…

For the most part, I loved my dress and thought it looked great! BranWedding-26

I purchased Mori Lee 5415 which is sheath/ fit and flare. I am on my phone and don’t have any pics of me in it. I’m a dress size 12 in everyday clothes. I plan on wearing longline shorts. Under Armour makes a pair. One bee here recommended Assets by Spanx. I say wear what you are comfortable in! Good luck!

Here’s my Mori Lee 5265 from the first time I tried it on- it won’t be in till May! It’s a few sizes too big so I’m hardcore clipped into it. Haven’t decided undergarments yet but will be following this thread with interest for ideas!

I’m a bit more plus sized than you…22 to be exact. I didn’t want the typical ‘all heavy girls should only be in an A-line dress” treatment either! Luckily, I had an awesome saleswoman who never batted an eye when I fell in love with this dress.

I really liked the Alfred angelo actually, and was really surprised my midsection wasn’t the highlight, or my relatively large hips. (omg my face still)

miam :  Haha, thanks! I think it’s mostly the clips- she really yanked them tight! You can see in the pics that they’re the industrial size ones. I’m resigning myself to the fact that for my wedding it probably won’t be as flattering as when I tried it on since I’ll, you know, want it loose enough to sit down tongue-out. I’m a street size 14-16 for comparison.
