I’m a size 7 and my e-ring is a 1.01 ct. solitaire. My wedding band has about .40 cts of diamonds. I’m very happy with the proportions 🙂

Center is just over 1 carat, with whole ring being just over 3 carats. Ring size 7.

I am a Size 7… but my hands are really really small… and my fingers  short & stubby

So I require a ring that has some “presence” (width) rather than a knife thin band

PHOTO – My mis-matched ERing & WBand (although they go together really  well)

My ERing is just under 2 Carats in Total Carat Weight, and  is a Custom Design from a Family Jewellery Store… Cathedral Setting  (arch style ring) 18 Kt White Gold Channel set with 46 Diamonds (Rounds &  Baguettes) aprox 1.1 CTW… they are all Canadian Certified Diamonds ranging in  size from 0.01 up to 0.05 each and are I in Colour and Clarity.

The  Feature Diamond at the centre of my ERing is a .80 Good Cut Round Brilliant Canadian Certified Diamond  with SI-1 Clarity and F Colour, and set into place with a traditional 4 Prong  Setting.  The Ring is also GIA Certifed.

My “Sparkly” Wedding Band came from an International Chain Jewellery Store  (Peoples / Zales) and is 14 Kt White Gold Channel Set with 10 Diamonds (Rounds)  all in the 0.05 range … all Certified Canadian Diamonds.  They are I  Clarity, and G in colour.  And the total carat weight is just over .50  Carats.  This Ring is also GIA Certified.

So all in… I am sporting aprox 2.5 CTW on my Wedding Ring Finger.

Hope this helps,

Size 7 — 0.5 carat

Love it. Simplest ring possble, with the simplest wedding band possible. I think the stone is perfect for my tastes, for my finger and for enhancing the bands (which I find beautiful) without overwhelming them or making the wedding band look secondary / not as important a part of the set.

@15thaven that wasn’t really necessary – to me you just sound jealous of her beautiful ring.

@Blackie:  Really? Claiming jealousy? It’s not jealousy to suggest that something irrelevant not be posted in a thread with a very specific topic. The OP has specifically requested for people with a certain size finger post pictures in this thread. Heathuhhhhwebbbb posted her picture yet also said she was not the finger size specifically requested. So why should she post in this thread? It’s unnecessary. It’s like someone posting a thread asking for brides with pink gowns to post pictures, and someone with a green gown posting pictures. It’s irrelevant and it doesn’t make someone jealous to point that out.

@Squid:  she should’ve went about it in a nicer way, there was no need for the last sentence in her post, just sayin.

@Birdi:  Well, I can understand the frustration when someone seeks to post their ring in 90%* of the ring threads they post in, despite whether it’s relevant or not. There are plenty of beautiful rings on this site here that would actually fit the criteria specified in the OP, no need for this poster to post her ring when it doesn’t even make sense in the thread.

@Squid:  I’m not trying to junk up this thread ..but I don’t quite understand this frustration you mentioned. Really now, it’s ridiculous to keep track of someone’s ring posts..other than you two, who cares where she posts her ring?

@Birdi:  i have to agree with

@Squid:  though. we all love heather’s ring, and we have all complimented on various threads when it applies. However, if OP asks for a certain size, it really doesn’t help if you post a different size. At the point, it just becomes a show off.

My ring size is a 6-6.5, depending..it’s weird, I know. I can wear a 5.5 in some things, a 6 in others, and a 6.5 (maybe it’s the weather and how swollen my fingers are? lol). My center stone is 1 carat. ETA: These rings are 6s, so kind of close to 7. 🙂

@Birdi:  I don’t care about her ring, and only looked up her posts to make sure I wasn’t talking shit when I said she posted it a lot (wasn’t sure if it was just how I felt or if it was true). So keep thinking I’m ridiculous, I don’t care. I only care when its irrelevant and derails a thread. Which of course all of this back and forth is doing, too. Her post did not help the OP at all and that’s all I’m getting at.

@Squid:  I just think there was no need to call her out on it.  If it is really irrelevant and derailing the thread – then why not ignore her post?  I was quite shocked when I read it to be honest. This was a nice post with some lovely rings in it – some of which I had not seen before and I was enjoying it until I read that nasty comment.  As far as I am concerned the fact that someone has posted the wrong size ring in a ring thread should not be met with a sarcastic comment!
