My understanding is that it can depend on the width of the band too. Thicker bands tend to fit tighter (but maybe I’m wrong). All of my rings are the same size and I have 4 of them on the same finger. If it’s too tight maybe you could see if they can take it up a 1/4 to 1/2 size. I would talk to a jeweler. They should know and be able to recommend the best route for you to take.

My band was actually .75 larger than my e-ring.  I had beads put in (I have an eternity, so resizing is very expensive) to make it .25 larger than my e-ring.

I personally would not get them the same size.  I hate sausage fingers.

My wedding ring is a P and the engagement ring is P 1/2, it’s what feels most comfortable to me. My finger is slightly narrower at the base than where the engagement ring sits when I’m wearing another ring under it. They both feel a bit loose when it gets cold, but not to the point of falling off.

Both my e-ring and wedding band are from Blue Nile and wedding band seemed to only come in half sizes up from the UK letters so I went for the half size up rather than down and when I wear them together – you can’t tell the difference. image47

My wedding band is a size 7, I got my wedding present in a 7.5 since it is an eternity and I never want the possibility of it not fitting since it can’t be resized. I wear them both ways- wedding ring on top when it’s cold to make sure the other ring doesn’t fall off, and wedding present on top when my hands are more swollen. I’ve also started stacking and have gone up 1/2-1 sizes with the stackers because of this.

Mine are the same size, buth both are thin bands (2-2.5mm).  Before I used to stack 3 rings, all the same size, but also thin bands.  Wider rings may require sizing up to feel comfortable.

My band is 1/2 size larger and my finger does feel a lot more free than when I had two of the same size.

My band is about 1/2 size larger. I don’t have them soddered together though which is nice because when I get prego I can just wear the band if my hands swell up.

I’m  UK too 🙂 both my rings are the same size but I’m  an L and my rings are both M. I prefer  having mine a bit lose (and it means they’ll  still fit for a while if I gain weight, get pregnant, get arthritis  etc). They’re definitely slightly tighter when on together than they are separately.
