I voted 4mm because that’s what I got! It’s a chunkier look but in the end that’s what I wanted in a wedding band. Something that had it’s own presence. The shape is closer to half-domed than flat though.

    I have a plain 2mm band that I love…I think 3mm would be a great width.

Yipeebee:  I say try them on; my wedding band and e-ring are both 2.5mm wide, but I wear them together (band is shaped). I want a plain band to wear solo (or with my new moissanite solitaire) for when I can’t/don’t want to wear my set, and I’m going to go with a 3mm band as it flatters my finger the best; I found anything smaller than 3mm made my finger look chunky, as did 4mm bands, and for me 5mm+ bands are too thick/’masculine’ (though my mum has a 6mm 22ct yellow gold band and it looks really elegant; they just don’t look good on me)

Yipeebee:  I voted for 4mm, too. The band I wear most often is 3mm, and I kind of wish I had gone with 4mm, instead. Sometimes, I think it would have looked like “too much” with my anniversary ring, since that ring is a bit wider. Other times, I look at it and wish it was wider. I love a chunkier look, overall. Also, I love a wider band for wearing it on its own.

With your new, gorgeous ring, 4mm would look fantastic.

3mm is a nice width, too. You can’t really go wrong with either one. (I am not helping at all, am I? Ha, ha)

I also have a lot of hand envy since wandering onto Wedding Bee! Glad I’m not the only one afflicted by the green-eyed monster — lol.

Yipeebee:  I always wanted a 2mm band, because I hated the look of anything larger than that. So, I was surprised that I fell in love with a band that’s a little over 3mm. I think the details are what distracts from it’s width, thankfully. image3

Yipeebee:  I have a 2.5mm, but would have gone up to 3mm, maybe not 4mm, not too sure that would look good with my ring.

My wedding band is 2mm because I wanted the width to match my e-ring band width. I would go with the width that’s closer to your e-ring band width. I like symmetry.
