hi all! I’m currently debating whether to go for a solitaire with diamond shoulders (currently looking at the French pave from blue Nile) or a round halo.
I’d love to see pics of your solitaires, I’ve always hated my little fingers but the benefit is that a 0.6 diamond looks huge!! Let me know what size centre stone you have!

So mine is a .90 with diamonds on the band and sized to 4.75 my finger is actually a 4.5.

I’m a size 3.75/4 and my stone is a 2.02 ct I/VS1 August Vintage Round. Since that cut is a bit deeper than a MRB, if you are looking at MRBs, a 2ct would appear slightly larger than this when viewed top-down.

0.5 carat round diamond, plain white gold band about 2mm or a little less, size 4 finger
I picked my ring out myself, engaged for 2 months and already planning an upgrade to a full carat. I honestly think it looks bigger in pictures than it does in real life. It’s very dainty. I thought I wanted dainty, turns out I want a little more bling. Luckily since I picked it in the first place, my fiancé doesn’t care if I upgrade. No hard feeling.
