I personally wouldn’t size them twice.  I’d ask for an early “push present” of another ring, either a nice engraved band, or anniversary band, maybe moissanite if you want to keep the budget down… and wear that throughout the rest of your pregnancy.

You can switch it over to your right hand afterwards, since your right ring finger is likely a bit bigger than your left anyway!

I’ve heard that resizing too many times can alter the strength of your ring and make it more fragile.  I’m not an expert though so I would take it to the store you have the care plan with and see what they say about it.

I agree in not sizing them twice.  Getting a stand-in ring (fashion or real) is a good idea if you miss wearimng your rings.  FYI – my fingers never went back to their original size after pregnancy, even after losing the weight!  Some people’s feet and hands always stay bigger ๐Ÿ™  I had size 7 fingers and now I’m an 8!

as @AP1976 said, your fingers may stay the larger size, so you might end up having to get your set sized up anyway, but I’d give that at least 6 mths or so after the baby is born just to make sure.  Maybe even a year?

Girl just get a cheap plain band in different sizes because sizing over and over again will hurt the structure of the ring.

Plus after you have a baby your hands will be in so many disgusting things for the first year you wont wanna wear your rings anyways lol trust me I have been thru is 3 times

All my friends who had babies ended up wearing their rings on a chain around their neck. It’s not the same, but at least you’re still wearing them. I definitely would NOT resize them twice!

If you’re thinking of a birthstone ring check these out.  This Etsy seller is fabulous to communicate with (I’ve emailed her a few times) and several Bees have rings by her!

I wore a pair of rings very similar to this for almost 5 years WITHOUT TAKING THEM OFF… EVER!  They’re round on the inside, so super comfy, and the bezel set stone is practically “goop” proof!
