I wasn’t sure where else this would go, but beauty seemed appropriate. I’m seriously hoping I am not the only one out there dealing with this… but here goes!
I don’t remember if my face has always been this way (with past boyfriends) most likely because my other SOs were younger and I was younger.. I don’t know. Basically whenever my Fiance kisses me or nuzzles my cheek.. even the slightest bit. I GO RED!!! My skin gets super irritated and gets really hot and will just flush for a while. If I’m wearing makeup, it shows through. If he has recently shaved, it still happens. I don’t know what it is, or how to make it stop… but it is kind of worrying me because I know we’ll likely kiss alot on our wedding day, and I don’t want to be red and blotchy in all of our pictures.
Does this happen to anyone else? MY skin is not usually over-sensitive and I take pretty good care of it.. I don’t know. It’s almost like I’m allergic to him lol… help?!

Oh jeez sure hope you aren’t allergic to him!! My face will go a little red when Fiance doesn’t shave for a day or two but when he is clean shaved, no redness or irritation at all.
First thing I thought of when reading your post was ‘is she allergic to something he is putting on HIS skin transferring onto hers’
what does he use on his skin? anything at all? aftershave or a lotion?

This used to happen to me all the time! My DH uses acne cream, and if he ever rubbed his cheek on mine at any point, I would get a horrible rash. We couldn’t figure out what it was until he didn’t have his acne cream on one day and noticed it didn’t happen. My skin was having a reaction to the acne cream.
Does your DH wear aftershave or any type of lotion on his face? You might be allergic to whatever he has on his face.

Nope, no aftershave or lotion 🙁
All I can think is maybe he isn’t shaving well.. but it feels smooth to the touch when he does.. I don’t know 🙁 Or maybe his cologne? but he doesn’t put that on his face.. and I sometimes use it too (shh lol it smells good)
