I’ve heard of putting ice and toothpaste on them, but I’ve never tried either one.  Whatever you do, don’t pop it!

Def don’t pop. it’ll make it worse.  What about using a product with sulphur in it? Salilycic acid is too harsh for me – i like things that “Draw” it out as opposed to dry it out.  I like DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask – but i used it as a spot treatment as opposed to a mask.  You can have the people at Sephora make you a sample 🙂

Oh and i’ve done the toothpaste thing before – it works.  It’ll help with the drying it out.

I’ve also done the toothpaste thing before and it definitely works…and it usually works fast, like overnight!

Go to a health food store (or Whole Foods) and buy a face mask made from bentonite clay (or just the clay itself).  Mix it with apple cider vinegar and put it on thick (overnight if you can stand the smell).  If it flakes off, start over.  It’s hard to mix into a smooth paste, so do a little at a time.

ETA Toothpaste never worked for me… 🙁

I break out A LOT because of my thyroid issues.  When I need to dry out my skin, I actually take a pinch of salt and mix it with my shampoo in order to make a home-made scrub of sorts.  I gently scrub in circles for a minute, and it really helps!  May sound a little silly, but this is actually a little beauty secret my grandma & mom have been using for years; and they have really beautiful skin!  This is my 93 year-old grandma (I certainly hope I have her skin when I reach her age)!

If i were you, i would go to a dermatologist. They can prob get rid of them overnight! Or just put toothpaste on it!

@MacFaniam24: I was also going to recommend Benzoyl peroxide. It’s a great spot treatment.

You can also cover really well with mineral make up “on the day” if the acne isn’t gone.

Don’t pop, you’ll just get a harder lump, plus a scab that will be more difficult to cover up.

@missbizzybee:  Your grandma looks great!!  I mix salt w/ a liitle water for a scrub, too.  Softest skin ever and it keeps breakouts away.  Sugsr works well too and isn’t as harsh.
