I have long legs and a big round booty, size 4/27 in jeans usually. I find that Seven for all Mankind straight leg are the most flattering on me because they don’t taper too dramatically (thus don’t emphasize my hips/rear). I also like Citizens of Humanity, and J.Crew’s matchstick cut.

I’m wearing Seven for All Mankind today (please excuse the awkward work bathroom photo- there just happens to be a big mirror in the handicapped stall). I am 5’6″ 130lbs wearing size 27:

@lexmek27:  My advice? Shop around, and make sure you get a good fit. I find that the best fabrics to prevent sagging are either a thin stretchy fabric, or else very thick denim. I find that fabrics that fall in-between give me sagging on my butt and around my knees.

@lexmek27:  American Eagle or Silver jeans – just dont get the ones that are “stretchy” and then they wont sag.

@lexmek27:  J Brand are my favs, but a lil pricey, especially if you’re not looking for classic jeans. I’ve recently tried the GAP legging jean, and its.. TIGHT. No sagging, never gets loose in the legs. I recommend!! They also come in tons of colors, patterns, etc.

Although I would potentially size down, one of the pairs I own is ‘my size’ but stretched out a bit more than my others.

I’d encourage you to consider a slim boot cut over skinny jeans if you don’t normally wear skinnies. More flattering and less trend-specific.

I was just in an Ann Taylor LOFT and was pleased with the jeans they have now. I’m not into distressed or faded styles, so it was a relief to shop styles without having to avoid 80% of the selection.

I always bought the Jessica Simpson brand and really like them, great for curves and super strechy with no sag, but I bought a pair of Lucky Brand ones last weekend (and I’ve tried on sooo many brands of skinny jeans – damn curves) and THEY.ARE.AWESOME! I’m a convert.

@tksjewelry:  They’re thicker than leggings? LOL I can’t really describe them. They do fit true to size.

@lexmek27:  Honestly I have looked for a good pair of skinny’s and I found the best pair at Forever21 .. PLUS they are only like $15-$25!! Only bad thing is that I wear them a couple times and wash them and they get pretty short on me 🙁

@lexmek27:  I also love the American Eagle Skinny jeans.  Express also has good quality jeans, but the fit is always a hit or miss for me.

I agree with PP – Old Navy ones are comfy, flattering, don’t get saggy, and CHEAP!
