I always thought I was too old for American Eagle (I’m 28 and they seem to advertise to teens and college age) but I randomly bought a pair of skinny jeans from them and love them!!
my gap jeans are the most flattering jeans I have ever owned. I believe they are called Super Slim? they looked so good I went back and bought ever print and color of this type.
If you want to invest, J. crew is always a good bet.

@lexmek27: I have bought a lot of skinny jeans and have always had the same problem. The best I have found are the Easy Jean from American Apparel. All over stretch and super comfortable. Tight enough to fit like a jegging all day but they are jeans. The also have a higher waist to eliminate the sagging problem. Try them. I promise they won’t let you down. You might want to order a size up, they run small.

I love my skinny jeans from NY & Co. They’re not too skinny, not too low, and hold their shape really well. 🙂

J Brand, Lucky, and Citizins have all done me well! J Brand and Citizins are pretty expensive, but I’ve managed to get them on sale for $75-125. Lucky Brand is medium price and don’t stretch.
American eagle jeggings seem to keep their shape as well. Not their regular jean material though.

Another idea for you..
When I buy jeans I wear them around the house for a day or two with the tags on now to “test” how saggy they are. If they are stupid saggy jeans I return them!

@lexmek27: i was having the same issue with my jeans, the sagging after an hour. I recently went and bought new jeans by vintage reserve which i love! but the sales lady told me its always smart to get one size smaller so they are tight. That way they wont sag.

@lexmek27: I have some from GAP that never sag! I love them! Most of my others are either Sevens, Joes, or Citizens. if you don’t want to spend a lot, try nordstrom rack. the trick is to go down a size as a lot of denim will sag if it has stretch in it.

I pretty much only wear j brand maria’s, or ocassionally their mid rise skinny. everything else eventually bag out on me or the rise is wrong. I’m 5’7′ 155 and wear a 28, or the ocassional 27. I have a large waist to hip ratio and a fairly big butt so higher rise is the way to go for me, or I get the dreaded waist band gap in the back!

Levis curve ID. take the test on levis.com.

@lexmek27: I love Paige and J-Brand skinnies, but if you want to get them at a lower price point, Loft has amazing jeans and pants in a few different cuts (modern and curvy) and they are always running a promo.

Yes! I always have such a problem finding good jeans bc I have no butt and a belly but Levi’s curve ID are amazing! I wear the slight curve and love them.

Is there a Levi’s store near you? I LOVE their skinny jeans. I’m pear-shaped, so I had the hardest time finding something that worked. Their bold curve skinny is perfect for me and now it’s all that I buy.

Do you know the style name of your jeans? I love them, and we have the same body type.
