Of course you can.  What kind of top would you wear?

I say bring your heels with you when you try them on.  I am not a huge fan of skinny jeans, but I remember them when they were huge in the 80s!  Ah the 80s…

Yes, I definitely think so. Especially with a high heel, because that elongates your leg, and if paired with a looser, longer top (I think this is a rule for anyone wearing skinny jeans, unless you’re teeny teeny tiny). I think the longer top balances it out. Maybe a cute blazer on top?

I wear skinny jeans sometimes to go out and Im a size 10. Sometimes I feel like it makes my butt/ thighs look too big and other times I’m like….damn I look good lol. If i pair them with a cute flowy top it looks good.

I think it really depends on your shape and not your size.  I’m a size 6 and skinny jeans just don’t look good on me.  They make me look twice as large on the bottom as when I’m wearing boot cut or straight jeans.  If you have killer legs then go for it.  But in general, skinny jeans will make everyone look bigger.

My general advice is wear what looks good on you, and don’t worry about the trends.

I think so.  I’d add to the above that they look best in a dark wash with no distressing.

I’m the same size of you & I’ve always been deathly afraid of skinny jeans!! I say do it for all the size 10+ girls who have doubts… I’ll be looking for updates & photos! Rock it Miss C 🙂

what Meowkers said (i’m also a size 6, and at 5’8″ skinny jeans look like crap on me). and, as with all jeans, make sure you try on a bunch of different brands and styles before you pick one! unless you’re a 5’11” size 2 twig, there are some jeans that will just look terrible on you, no matter how cute they look before putting them on, just as there are some that will look bangin’ on you but so-so on the rack. i feel like jeans are the most important thing to try on before buying!

It depends on a lot more than jean size.  I’m much smaller than you and look TERRIBLE in skinny jeans because I’m short and more torso than leg.  The fact that I tried them on during a “refuse to wear heels ever” phase may have made things even worse.  With the right heels heels I think it’s pretty likely you can find a pair that works – bring the shoes you plan to wear with them most and make sure you’re buying the right size.

Aw, I’m a size 10 too. It sorta makes me happy to see how many of us there are! I think you should at least try it on with a looser/longer/flowy top like the others said. I have long legs, and I like to pair mine with ballet flats and that sort of top, and I think it looks good. 🙂

I think you should just take your heels with you and try a pair on…I know girls who are size 18 + that will rock the mess out of some skinn leg jeans and they look GREAT!!! …Its all about how you feel you look in them…If you think you look amazing..then who really cares about what anyone else thinks!!! Go for it!!!
