This is my first time posting on here, but I need some advice!
I just bought a Claire Pettibone Sky Between the Branches wedding dress. I absolutely love it! But I can’t seem to decide if I should wear a veil or not! The back is so gorgeous I don’t know if I want to cover it up with anything.. I guess the alternative to a long veil is somethine small like a birdcage veil.. Or even just putting flowers in my hair. Any suggestions? I would love feedback!
Here are a few links to pictures of the dress:

I think a birdcage veil will look extra classy with this dress…I agree I wouldn’t want to cover the back of this dress, its stunning

When trying to make a decision about something visual its easier for me to decide if I can have a side by side picture. If its possible, go to the bridal store, try the dress on with the headpiece and veil taking a pic after each one. Print the pics out, lay them side by side and see what looks better. Hopefully doing that youll be able to decide. My choice would be the birdcage veil. The back of the dress is stunningg. I have always loved all her designs.

Thank you for the feedback, guys!
I like the idea of the birdcage veil.. But that’s definitely a good idea to try them on with the separate headpieces. I’m kind of sad because I like the long ones too! But it’ll be worth it to show the back! 🙂

Depends on the style you are going for. A birdcage veil is quite retro and will give you an entirely different look to a halo of fresh flowers or a sparkly clip or band. I think you could still do a veil for the ceremony if you wanted to keep it traditional and maybe lose it for the reception.

I just love the name of the dress – it sounds like the title of a romantic poem! A simple flower I think would be all you need with this beautiful dress.

I think you shouldn’t cover up the back of this dress, so either a short birdcage veil or no veil (I really like the idea of a floral crown with this dress like @jojoannanz suggested).
If you decide on a veil, check out tulle birdcage veils as well as netted ones. One might look better than the other with this dress. Something like this might look quite beautiful:

I wore this feather fascinator in my hair on my wedding day with my ivory lace dress. Most of the cream band was hidden by my hair. Something like this might also work for you, instead of a veil?
