I am having my reception and wedding outdoors. FI’s cousin really wants to create a slideshow for us, and I really want it too. However, the tent we are having the reception under doesn’t have walls. Any ideas on how to display a slideshow outside with no tent walls?

Can you buy one of those outdoor movie projector screens? Another option would be to have a large digital picture frame and set it up. Maybe you can put it on the table with the guest book (if you’re having one) so guests can view it at their leisure.

Can you rent an outdoor projector screen, or would we have to buy it?

I’ve never rented one before, but here’s an article explaining how to do it:

The only reception I was at they played it on the ceiling. It worked ok.. I would try it out and make sure everyone is able to see first though.

My sister had hers on the ceiling. It was great!

Wait, I’m confused – do you mean an actual old school projected slideshow or a more modern one?
We’re having one, but we’re just creating it ourselves, saving it on a flashdrive & then it’ll be displayed on a flatscreen during the wedding.
