I really wanted Justin Alexander’s 8511, and more so for the coat!

@Corilee13:  The first one is Claire Petitbone Mystere and the second is 2010 Carolina Herrera.  I tried on Mystere.  It’s flattering has zero structure (think thin silk nighty fabric), so you need a lot of confidence about your midriff to really rock it.

I never saw the Carolina in person, but a girl was selling one on preownedweddingdresses that looked 10x better than the model (and I think the model looks good).  I was so wishing I was her size.  Edit:  It’s still for sale and she’s lowered her price, so in case another girl has a smaller bum than me and could pull it off too:

@CupCakeMeg:  That coat would be so amazing for a winter/fall wedding.

I am in love with Ian Stuart’s “Cartland” gown in pale lilac. I can’t find it anywhere in the U.S. which is incredibly frustrating.

Another gorgeous Ian Stuart gown, under the tulle is sparkly silver lacey stuff so the whole gown sparkles!

I also am in love with Terry Fox’s wedding gowns. They are to die for! AMAZING! Again, a U.K. designer that is not available in the U.S. Her gowns are less money than I would expect even though still pricey. Below are a few of my favorites. Oh, and she also does customized gowns. On her website she has a picture of a real bride that had a customized gown done in a gorgeous grayish blue STUNNING!

This last one has lace by the waist that floats beneath the tulle with a message of love on it. It is hidden but it is just one of the many fine details she puts on her gowns. If you have a custom one she really personalizes it for you. One bride had her grandmothers brooches incorporated into her gown as well as some pieces of lace from her grandmothers wedding gown.

If any of you know where to get a Terry Fox gown or Ian Stuart (besides Kleinfields)in the U.S. I would love to know.

@Melini:  OMG.  I would so wear that Caroline Herrera!!!  I too would have to forgo eating for the next 9 months and that muffin I just ate was probably a very bad idea but wow.

These dresses are all so fun and gorgeous!!  So out there and unexpected, which I love.  Totally what I want in a dress!

@susanlyn7:I wore Ian Stuart’s Cabaret.  He does have quite a few stores in the US.  You can find them on his website. And they’re even more gorgeous in person.  I promise.  Photo courtesy of Jason Chan Photography.

@susanlyn7: That second dress you posted was one of my faves from a magazine. So amazing and romantic.

Ah, I love that Alexander McQueen! I saw it in person at the Met exhibit- amazing, but all of his pieces are! My dress is tame by comparison- but I don’t have the cajones to wear a pink dress =) I do love it though.
