I hate them. Poor taste and I think badly of the people wearing them. Sometimes I even tell them! : (36 votes)

I would NEVER wear one but I tolerate them. At most I point and snicker behind the wearer's back. : (46 votes)

I’ve worn slutty costumes before but they certainly aren’t the only thing I wear.  I also think there are differwnt levels of sluttiness.  The costumes that I’ve worn that were “slutty”, everything was covered and nothing was at risk of falling out or showing.

Recently, I’ve been a naughty Catholic schoolgirl and a Hooters girl (slutty) but I’ve also been a cowgirl, a fairy, and “Deal or No Deal” girl carrying one of the silver cases (not slutty).

ETA: Here is my Hooter’s girl costume (which based on everyone’s descriptions below is apparently not actually very slutty).  Maybe I’m not a slutty costume wearer after all!

I want “I’ve worn it once or twice and I do judge those who wear them.”

I’m with the PP – Halloween is the one time where it’s ok to dress up and wear what you want.  And I believe there are different classifications of “slutty”.  The costumes I’ve worn kept me covered up, but they were more skimpy than I would ever wear on any other day except Halloween.

I can’t stand slutty costumes. I almost always make fun of the wearer in my head, if not out loud. I think it’s a shame that girls feel as though they need to dress up as the sexy version of something for Halloween. I’d rather just dress up as a banana instead of a sexy banana.

I’m totally guilty. My costumes are definitely usually more on the risque side but I don’t think they are really slutty. I ususally pick ones that cover the midriff, so it’s just cleavage and legs hanging out. Most of the time, I wear some sort of stocking under them too. So… I guess I’m actually usually pretty covered.

My 2 favorites were Harry Potter and Robin (like Batman and Robin). lol

I mean, it’s Halloween. Who the hell judges people for that? Halloween is meant for people to wear whatever the hell they want.

I’m a prude, so slutty Halloween costumes are totally not for me. At all.

I bounce around a lot, one year I wore a senoirita costume that was made my playboy, so needless to say, it was on the slutty side, bu then the year after that I dressed up as abby from NCIS and wore clunker boots and a trench coat, so I just wear what looks fun from year to year.

In college I was always the one girl at the party completely covered 🙂 But I don’t care what other people do. To each their own.

I think the definition of slutty is subjective.  I wore a bo peep a few years back that was slutty.  I’ll admit it.  I dont know where I got the cohones to wear it (and to a bar!).  Last year I took a tube dress in my closet and bought $10 wings and went as an fairy.  Some people would call that slutty, I didnt.

Creative and fun costumes always are the best ones regardless.
