Has anyone done small bouquets for your mom and FMIL? We are going to have really simple flowers (just red roses) and my coordinator recommended pin corsages for the moms but I’m not sure if they would want to pin something onto their dresses.
If anyone has a picture of mom mini-bouquets, please share!

You could always do wrist corsages too. Maybe ask the moms what they would prefer? My mom wanted a wrist corsage due to the detail on her dress, but my step-mom wanted a pin on b/c wrist corsages bother her wrist.

@cherrycoke: I was thinking of wrist corsages, but we’re not having a florist–my DOC is making our bouquets/bouts and I’m not sure if she knows how to make a corsage. I know we could get them separately from a florist if they want them…I’m just trying to think of what would be the most simple solution. What did the pin corsage look like?

None of us really like the look of corsages (wrist or pin) so we did nosegay bouquets for the moms and single stem bouquets for the grandmothers and my aunt. Everyone much preferred them to corsages since they didn’t want to pin anything onto their dresses and wrist corsages tend to get in the way.

I like the look of tussy mussy bouquets for the moms.
They are a Victorian-style bouquet where a small bouquet of flowers is carried in a metal vase specifically designed to be carried. It comes with a stand so that at the reception it can become a centerpiece.
