So I will not be coordinating my bridal shower… now that I am having one. See, most of my relatives and guests are coming from Pennsylvania… but my wedding is in VA Beach. And my wedding will probably have 30 people at most… so not a lot of people. I guess I kind of assumed I wouldn’t be doing anything, but my bridesmaid brought it up today and suggested doing something. I figured even something small would be nice… it’s just hard to coordinate. I would do it in Pennsylvania, where I am from… but there will not be many people to invite. I want to give my bridesmaid some ideas on what we could do, and then she and my mom can go from there…
So, my question is.. what are some good, but small bridal shower options? Something fun, not all about the little games… but something enjoyable and reasonable for a smaller group?

What about a tea? I went to a shower where there were about 20 women at the tea house, and it was far too many. So I think if you are having 10 people or so, it would be nice. You can also go to a restaurant with a private room and do it there. Good luck!

One of my showers was very simple. We went to someone’s house and they served a nice lunch with desert, opened gifts. It was fun.
Also, my Maid/Matron of Honor surprised me with a card box, which was put to good use at both the wedding, bridal shower, and is great home decor now!! She knew that I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a store bought card box that I will never use again (and I recently went to a friends’ wedding and her store bought card box did not fit many cards OR the larger envelopes!! Anyway, my Maid/Matron of Honor knew I was picky and found this. I HAD to share it because it came out amazing!!!
