I think I found my dress! It was completely different from what I was looking for. At first, the consultant and I were going to skip over it since it didn’t look like much on the hanger. But I’m so glad we decided to give it a shot. It was the first dress that I tried on in which I didn’t want to change anything about it. I liked where everything fell…the neckline, the waist. But my main issue is that the sample size was a 16. I measured into a 6. So now I’m worried that it will look completely different if I order it in my size. Did any other brides have this issue?

@MrsD2Be: yea except its the other way around. Im a size 16 and tried on dresses that ranged from 10-12……. The advice Iw as given was if Im worried about it looking different in my actual size then I should try on a dress in my size that was similar. Good luck!

@MrsD2Be: good tailoring should make it look pretty similar, it just could get a little pricey!

My dress sample was a size 10 or 12 and it had to be ordered in a 2 and needs o be altered down some more. When they clip it up for you it shiuld give you a good idea of what shape it will have in your size too.
