I love it!! For us (another small budget, less than 5000) we think the food is most important.  We are having an intimate wedding (less than 70 guests) on a weekday and a brunch as our meal.  I have found that the most important areas to skimp on were florals, I’m doing all the bouquets, corsages, etc (bring it on lol) and the most important things to me was that my family and the venue were all in the same location. I didn’t make my own dress, but I found one from another bride for 346 (SCORE!)  My feather fascinator was diy and cost 11.25 (the one in the bridal shop was 119)… if you are on this board, trust me, you’ll find tons of diy projects that you must have and a ton of great ways to save money.
