If you buy a ring online how do you get it serviced without getting it from a retail store? What if a diamond falls out? You go into a retail store and they will fix it for you but with a price?? In the insurance that I have I get it done for free for a lifetime….hmm… if it’s lost… Probably not in my insurance haha.

Mrs.DK:  your edits gave me a smile because I went through the same thing not too long ago.

Mine is a .45 carat emerald cut, I LOVE how unique emerald cuts are and I think if you want more bang for your buck they’re a great option. Sorry the pics too big.

I am the proud owner of an absolutely lovely ring that my Fiance and I found at an antiques shop for less than $2k. So don’t limit yourself to shopping only at jewelery stores. Plus, I’ve found that having an antique ring means that no one else will have it, if it is an uncommon setting.
