There will be 8 of us for our ceremony in the Bahamas next month. My 16 yr old daughter will be my Maid/Matron of Honor, my life-long best friend (guy) will also be standing up with me. My FI’s father will be his Best Man. Also present: best friend’s partner/spouse, FIL’s woman-friend, FI’s mom. Very small private ceremony followed by all of us taking a sailboat sunset champagne cruise. Then dinner, casinoes, dinner, partying etc. Bouquets will be something else to carry/worry about. Can I get away with a small bunch of flowers for me and a boutonniere for the groom and forget other flowers? Otherwise, It looks like it will cost another several hundred $$ for flowers. I’d rather spend the money on a day at Atlantis! Thoughts?

Skip the flowers.
You are only obligated to do what you want, and if you would rather that money go towards some other fun memory, than do it! Nothing says you HAVE to have certain flowers.

Yes! You can do whatever you want! You could do that even if this was your first wedding, but since this is non-traditional, I think it makes sense to not throw away all that money on flowers, they are so expensive! Sounds like it will be a great wedding.

We are getting married in Jamaica. The Destination Wedding flowers are way too costly for me. I found Etsy Flowers by the Vase real touch. They are beautiful and amazing to work with. My bouquet is First Love.
Another thought maybe you could do some matching flowers in hair for your daughter. No need to carry.
