- Wedding: March 2018
Myself and my fiance are from Scotland but living in Australia (been here 4 years) and are getting married in New York – only our parents, siblings and one or two close friends will be attending. The following week we are travelling from New York to Scotland to have a big reception party to celebrate with all of our family and friends there. We both have really big, close families with lots of kids. As we live at the other side of the World we only get to see them every 1-2 years but still talk to them often. We both would like to include our nephews and some little cousins in our wedding but they won’t be coming to New York, would it be weird to have them be flower girl and page boys at our big reception party? We will be having a photographer there and would love photographs all together and we really want them to feel part of our special day. I appreciate any advice on this subject please!
