I like your current setting but I prefer the more symetrical second one. It does take away a little from the centre stone but I only think that cos I’m a solitaire girl… Good luck!

I’m loving the vintage setting! If it isn’t too big of an inconvenience I say go for it!

My opinion? I really love your current setting. I think it works so well with your current diamond. Granted, I don’t know how your diamond would look in the second setting but I really do like your swirly ring.

i love both! if you’re having doubts and you’re within a window that you can change it out for a small cost or whatever, then i’d say you should switch.

I love your current setting.  It’s unique and the proportions are perfect.  I like the lower setting, too, but prefer yours hands down.

That’s my ring!!!! I have the second setting and I love it!!!! There is also another girl on WB who is my ringtwin.  It’s so unique, I get a lot of compliments.  However, your current ring is also very pretty & unique! Keep us updated on what you decide!! ps. I don’t have the greatest pic of it… camara phone

@country chic:  I love the swirly setting, that’s actually my ideal setting.  It’s so unique and I like it so much better than the 2nd.  That said, you’re going to be living with this setting for the rest of your life and if you’re SO is comfortable with the change, you should get what YOU want!

I have a similar ring except my band is thinner, with an upgraded 1 carat center stone. I think my ring has a perfect proportion between the small diamonds and large center stone. Neil Lane does have some very nice, elegant rings, I must say!!! I was actually stuck on this ring   [ http://www.kay.com/product1|10101|10001|-1|940201419|15051|15051.21826.22081]    before I choose my swirly ring..until I saw it in person and I was expecting something much more beautiful for the price  ;(

What I think you should do is let it marinate for a little bit before you make a final decision. I think they both are beautiful. Have you seen the other on in person?
