I have been self conciosus about my rings from day 1.  I dont want a huge solitaire, but I think what I have is too small.  The largest diamond (SI1, G) is 0.30 and the 6 smaller ones are 0.02 each.  My total carat weight on both engagment ring and wedding band is only 0.42.    My husband is ok with me wanting to chage my setting, I want to keep all of the diamonds that I already have, but end up making my ‘engagement ring’ and 3 stone ring.   I want to buy another .30 carat diamond and then a .50 carat diamnd to be the center diamond.  Then all of the tiny 0.02 diamonds, put all of those on the wedding band.    I do love my rings, I don’t flaunt my rings around and feel relunctant to show them when some one asks.  I was only married last year, so people are still asking to see my rings.  My husband and I did pick these rings together.   But this is all he could afford at that time.  I was shown larger rings with a lower quality diamond, but I didnt want to go that route either.  I knew I’d upgrade eventually so I didnt want I2 or I1 diamonds.

My center stone is 0.6 with a total weight of 0.72. To me the stone looks huge, but I prefer the smaller stones – they really do look more dainty. I am in complete and utter love with mine! ๐Ÿ™‚

frommisstomrs.:  I love your ring.  It suits your fingers and is also quite beautiful. I’d be doing the finger wiggle wiggle dance with all those stones to see how they catch the light. ๐Ÿ™‚

I had a half carat princess cut solitaire and wanted something more unique. It wasn’t the size of the stone but more the plainness of it. So I had the diamond reset and I am so in love.

SuzieMG95:  I can’t believe people would say that. I love the meaning behind the claddagh ring! And yours is beautiful!
