@gemgirl6: No, we don’t have engagement rings at all. Most of the people haven’t a proposal-they decide to marry together and they buy mostly plain matching wedding bands. They wear just the wedding band. You can buy engagement rings here-but just small solitaires ca 0.2 ct on plain bands. And they are expensive! My Fiance and me are big America fans – so we buyed my ring in Florida.. So I am a really lucky girl.. I’m just a liiitle bit sad because no one recognise my ring and no one ask me if I’m engaged.. And I want to tell it the whole world 😉 Haha

I love mine. Its 0.13ct diamonds and a small sapphire stone =]

My center is .75, I just went to o get it appraised though and the guy said he thought it was .50 but due to the depth of it it could be .75.
the diamonds surrounding my center stone equal .25 carets for a total of 1.25.
i really like bling so I went big with my weddings band-enhancer.

@mrsrecon: No, yours isn’t small! My side stone is .13; centre is .23 🙂 But I have never equated the number of carat weight to the weight of my Fiance and my love. It’s the companionship that counts.

@Cynderbug: that is very true! my sister got engaged in february, and got a family ring from her fiance (so he did not have to buy it himself) and it is a pretty big diamond, i am not sure of the size.. but she always makes comments about my ring being smaller. but i am perfectly happy with it!

I have no clue what the specs of my ring are, but some would probably consider it small. I think it’s perfect!

@Sanibel13: Your ring is gorgeous! So pretty and dainty.

@jenilynevette: I love the ring you are wearing on your pinky!! – I assume this is the stand in ring you are referring to? Just curious – where did you get it (if you don’t mind me asking)? I have been looking for something similar to that for a right hand ring or as a stand in for vacations. Any info on the that ring would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

@pinksprinkles: Got my stand in ring because the setting on my diamond engagement ring is very pointy, and gets caught on everything. I work with my hands ALOT at my job, sometimes I do desk jobs, and sometimes I help kids with doing crafts, which includes painting, clay, tye dye, ect – I didn’t want to ruin my actual e-ring, and wanted to get something cheap enough that I didn’t care if it got ruined/lost.
I bought my ring from berricle – got the set for just under $40 [$36ish?] with a 30% off coupon. They had VERY fast shipping, and the ring is gorgeous. They have many other rings too, if you are interested, including that same ring in a bunch of differant colors.
Here’s the link to the ring if you’re interested –

@rambmom07: the question is, what do you consider small?
Everyone has a different perception what is considered a “small” diamond.
I have a 1.20ct diamond, and compared to some of the rings that people have on here, they would think its small. I don’t think my ring is small but I don’t think its large either, I think its just perfect, its a good size for me, for my hands.
